This is an accessory picatinny rail section that can be installed to our optic mount's side struts. This provides an additional attachment point for an accessory such as a flashlight, aiming laser / IR light source, or a micro dot set at a 45 degree angle. This short picatinny rail section is specifically designed for the AK Master Mount optic mounts and attaches by our proprietary clamping system.

Accessory Side Picatinny Rail Section

This is a side picatinny rail section that can be added to the side struts of our optic mounts to add an additional attachment point for mounting accessories.  This short picatinny rail section is specifically designed for the AK Master Mount optic mounts and attaches by our proprietary clamping system.  This unique clamping system provides reliable attachment, but can later be removed if desired with no permanent alteration to the optic mount itself.  Its clamping apparatus is hidden behind the side struts of the optic mount to maintain the sleek aesthetics of our optic mount design.

 

 

AKM Rear Biased Version Optic Mount

The accessory side rail attaches to the rear two struts.

 

AKM Full Length Version Optic Mount

The accessory side rail can attach to the front two struts, to the rear two struts, or both for added versatility.

 

 

 

AKM Micro or 7K Version Optic Mount

The accessory side rail can attach to the rear two struts.

 

 

 

Yugo Version Optic Mount

The accessory side rail attaches to the front struts.

Built to Last

The picatinny rail is constructed of 6061 aluminum to be tough, but yet lightweight.  It is finished with black type III hardcoat anodizing for added strength.  The retaining base plate is heated treated steel with nitride finish. The picatinny rail section measures 2 2/16" inches long x 13/16" wide and weighs 0.5 ounces.
